Five natural parks that hide some of the best beaches in Spain

Cantabria, Huelva, Canarias, Cádiz and Galicia are some of the places that have beaches in Natural Parks.

Traveling within Spain has become the safest and cheapest alternative for these holidays. Moving by road we can access places full of nature in which to disconnect from day to day. For those who want to enjoy a good day at the beach, Indie Campers has selected some of the best sandy beaches in Spain within natural parks.

Valdearenas Beach, Liencres Dunes Natural Park (Cantabria)

This 2.8-kilometer-long beach is located within the Liencres Dunes Natural Park , whose dunes are considered one of the most important in the north of Spain due to their geomorphological interest and their particular ecological characteristics. Valdearenas does not usually have many bathers thanks to the natural environment in which it is located, which is why it preserves its nature and tranquility. Usually, and due to its orientation, this fine sandy beach has strong winds and great waves, which makes it one of the best places on the Cantabrian coast to practice sports such as windsurfing, surfing or kitesurfing.

Torre del Loro beach in Doñana Park (Mazagón, Huelva)

This beach, 3 kilometers long, 100 meters wide and with little waves, is one of those that we can find within the Doñana Natural Park, one of the most protected and recognized enclaves in Spain for its biodiversity. Access to the beach is not easy and, thanks to this, it is usually not very crowded, so tranquility is guaranteed. If we walk around this semi-virgin beach, with fine golden sand, we can find cliffs of different heights, such as El Asperillo, a sandy cliff that is a Natural Monument of Andalusia.

Guayedra beach in the Tamadaba Natural Park (Gran Canaria)

This nudist beach is located within the Tamadaba Natural Park on the island of Gran Canaria. Guayedra stands out for its biodiversity, its strong waves and its impressive landscape of ravines and steep rocks. From the beach, made of stone and volcanic black sand, we can enjoy impressive sunsets almost in solitude since access to Guayedra can only be done on foot through the ravine or by off-road vehicle.
